Are you planning a wedding and don’t know where to
start? Or have you started planning and just feeling overwhelmed?
Maybe you need:
- Time alone
- Time with your maid of honor to work out the
details
- Time with the person you love, to remember why
you’re getting married
And if you want, I will be happy to offer my assistance.
I can help get you started with your planning or will be happy to offer guidance
once the planning has begun. I have officiated many, many weddings so I have an
abundance of professional experience. But more importantly, in 2009 both of my
daughters were married within 6 weeks of each other so I have great amount of
personal experience.
Wedding planning books are a great start but they can
not answer your specific questions. I truly love what I do and want to offer
couples the opportunity to eliminate stress from the wedding planning. On a
wedding day, nothing makes me sadder than to hear someone say, “Let’s just get
this over with”. And yes, it happens more often that you would think.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of
your life, if not THE most important. It needs to be treated as such,
particularly the actual ceremony. Your wedding ceremony is the beginning of your
marriage. The promises you make to each other are the words you promise to live
by for the rest of your lives. (as long as we both shall live). At the
very least, find some time in your busy schedule to give these words the
attention they deserve.
So, have you decided that a little time away sounds like
a really good idea…
Consider spending few hours or a night or two at our
retreat center, RiverMist. I will create a
special package just for you. I will be happy to meet with you and discuss your
plans or leave you completely alone to enjoy your quiet time. |
